On the evening of Friday, March 20, we plan to release admission decisions to first-year applicants for the Wake Forest Class of 2030! Throughout the past several months, the admissions staff has reviewed a record 21,000+ applications. From this record pool, we have carefully selected 18% of students for admission to the first-year class cohort. Each applicant was considered for their academic accomplishments, community engagement, and alignment with the university’s Pro Humanitate motto and mission.

Applicants should first expect to receive an email, prompting them to check their status page, where an admissions decision may be reviewed. We will release admissions decisions to all students whose applications were complete as of February 17. For those with applications complete after that date, we will release decisions on a rolling basis over the next few weeks.

To those applicants offered admission: Congratulations! This offer recognizes your intellectual drive and your passion for social contribution, both of which embody the spirit of our founding principles. Please keep an eye on your email inbox for additional details about on-campus and virtual programming for admitted students; for now, please save the date for April 10 and 13 for Campus Days. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Our goal is to provide financial aid notifications to those applicants with complete financial aid applications on March 27. If an applicant has not received a notification by then, they should contact the Office of Student Financial Aid at finaid@wfu.edu.

There is still time to submit financial aid documents! Applicants should allow 5-7 business days for processing and check their status portal for updates. Financial aid letters will continue to be released on a rolling basis through the end of April (and beyond for those who enroll).

For those students who received a waitlist decision, we invite you to join us for our Waitlist Webinar on Wednesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. ET. In the coming days, through this blog and via email, we will have more information for those invited to join the waitlist.

Lastly, we’d like to acknowledge those students who were not admitted or invited to join the waitlist. Selecting students to whom we will offer admission is always difficult, and this year was no exception. We wish you only the very best as your college search continues.

With kindest regards,
Wake Forest University Office of Undergraduate Admissions
