A Waitlist Update

MAY 6 UPDATE: Over the past few days, we have admitted a number of students from our active waitlist. We look forward to working with them as they finalize their decision about where they will go to college. We anticipate extending additional offers of admission to our applicants in a few weeks.

Original post (from April 26): In anticipation of our approaching May 1 deadline, we decided to begin extending offers of admission to students on our active waitlist. We look forward to welcoming these students to our campus in a few short months!

While we have reached out to our initial wave of waitlisted applicants, we will continue to monitor enrollment and consider those on our active waitlist for admission. We hope that you have taken a moment to connect with your admissions representative and submitted to us any updated grades for coursework in your senior year. Already emailed your admissions rep? Then you’re all set! We have everything we need to consider you for the next round of offers. We understand that many of you are eager to hear from us, and you can rest assured that you have done all that you can to advocate for yourself if you have completed those aforementioned steps. 

A quick heads-up for those joining our community from the waitlist: one of our first-year residence halls is currently being upgraded to enhance the student experience for years to come. As a result, some incoming students may be placed in single rooms, regardless of preference. While assignments are based on overall availability, a single room can offer added privacy and personal space as you transition to campus—something many students come to really value during their first year. Regardless of room type, you’ll be part of a vibrant residential community, with shared spaces, programs, and support designed to help you connect and feel at home from the moment you arrive.
