We’ve released our first decisions! Any schedule changes? Let us know!
Our Early Decision application round is relatively unique among colleges and universities, namely because we release decisions on a rolling basis. With this application round, our goal is to share decisions at the end of each month with those students whose applications were completed the month prior. (If you haven’t seen it, this summer blog post will be helpful in understanding some of the intricacies of the ED round.)
Last Friday, we released our first admissions decisions of the 2025-2026 application cycle, and we are excited to introduce the very first members of the Wake Forest Class of 2030! Congratulations to each of those students.
We cannot, unfortunately, offer admission to every applicant, and, to those who received disappointing news, we wish you only the best in finding a fulfilling collegiate home.
Some students were deferred. A deferral moves an applicant to the Regular Decision applicant pool, which does not include an expectation to enroll if admitted. We would encourage those students to be in touch with their admissions representative over the course of their senior year, should their interest remain. We are especially interested in receiving updates about grades or special awards and recognitions. And for those seeking need-based financial aid, please be sure to complete the financial aid application no later than January 1.
We’d also like to acknowledge those students who were hoping to receive an admissions decision but did not. We greatly appreciate your interest in Wake Forest and look forward to sharing a decision with you as soon as we are able.
