We are releasing our first decisions of the year!

We’re pleased to share that the first decisions of the 2026-2027 admissions cycle will be available later this evening! Because our Early Decision I round is “rolling,” we’ll continue releasing admissions decisions monthly to those with completed files. If you’re expecting a decision, please check your status portal.

To those who received disappointing news: While we wish that we could admit every applicant, we deeply appreciate your interest in Wake Forest and offer our warmest wishes for your future. 

If your application was deferred, here’s what you need to know: 

Your file moves automatically to the Regular Decision pool, and you’re no longer bound by the Early Decision enrollment commitment. Your application will be fully evaluated again; the door to admission remains genuinely open. As we re-review your file, mid-year senior grades are especially important. Please send updated transcripts and any new, significant achievements to . If you’re seeking need-based financial aid, please ensure your complete financial aid application is submitted no later than January 1. 

If your decision is still pending: We know how eagerly you have been anticipating today. If your file is still under review, please know that we are working diligently and look forward to sharing an admissions decision with you as soon as we are able.
