The Environmental Science major prepares students to become proficient in the biological, chemical, physical, and earth sciences, and to develop social and cultural awareness of complex environmental problems.
Did You Know?
- This highly interdisciplinary major calls on the expertise of faculty in more than 15 different undergraduate departments; three academic centers; and graduate programs in Arts and Sciences, Business, Divinity and Law.
- Among those partners is the Andrew Sabin Family Center for Environment and Sustainability, which seeks to benefit “environmental protection, sustainability and climate change from the jungles of Peru to the campus of Wake Forest University.”
- Offered for the first time in 2020-21, the major is part of a rapidly growing Environmental program that includes Environmental Science.
