WFU, You, and Early Decision II!
Here’s an application that sometimes gets overlooked in all the hoopla surrounding the “big name” applications of Early Decision and Regular Decision:
The binding Early Decision II application (deadline: January 1) has so much to recommend it:
- a firm date on which you’ll hear back from us: February 15 (and no later),
- a chance for those who discovered and fell in love with Wake Forest University (a 5,200-undergraduate, test-optional, liberal-arts school in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with an 11:1 student-faculty ratio, 45 majors, and 60 minors) late, to apply Early Decision, and
- the opportunity to show your interest in and commitment to us.
It may not get as much attention as the others, but it’s pretty great.
So, give it some consideration: sometimes the sequel is just as good as the original!
P.S. And one more thing: if you submit the signed early-decision agreement to admissions@wfu.edu, you may easily change your application from Regular Decision to Early Decision II!
Warmest regards, Eric Maguire, Vice-President for Enrollment, Wake Forest University
