Wake Forest University hosts an Alumni Families Luncheon for graduates and their families.

We don’t just accept your students in the admissions process at Wake Forest—we say we accept their families, too! Wake Forest believes parents and family members can be our best partners in ensuring their students’ success, because you are incredibly important sources of support and care.

We seek to engage parents and families in ways that are developmentally appropriate and allow students to make independent decisions as they enter adulthood, while providing both information and comfort as your family navigates the significant life transition of sending a child off to college.

Parents & Families Website

Our Parents & Families website is our information hub specifically for Wake Forest families. It has a suite of resources to help new and current families navigate their student’s college experience.

The Daily Deac

Wake Forest is the only university with a daily blog, the Daily Deac. Families can subscribe to this award-winning publication to get a daily glimpse of campus life, as well as important tips and reminders.

Parent & Families E-Newsletter

Sent to all families around the middle of each month, this e-newsletter provides news, due dates/action items, and other information from departments across campus to keep families informed.

Resources for New Students

Each year on May 1, we launch the New Students website, which has information for incoming students and their families. Then every Tuesday during the summer, we send an email to incoming families about a key theme (e.g., academics, housing, meal plans, social life, a comprehensive Move-In Guide, etc.) as well as upcoming due dates and deadlines for families.
