We have released Early Action admissions decisions!
2026 marks the third year of our unique Early Action round, a pathway dedicated to supporting first-generation college students. As we reflect on this year’s applications, we continue to be inspired by their academic and co-curricular accomplishments. Many have balanced significant responsibilities while maintaining a commitment to their education and academic excellence, and we are sincerely excited about the future they will build – hopefully here at Wake Forest.
Congratulations to our newly admitted Early Action students! We look forward to connecting with you as you prepare for National College Decision Day on May 1.
To those deferred to Regular Decision: please know that this is not a final decision. Applicants may have been deferred for any number of reasons: we are interested in seeing grades from your senior year; we want to learn more about our applicant pool; or you do not meet the Wake Forest definition of a “first-generation college student.” These applicants are welcome to share with us any new or updated grades or academic recognitions since submitting the application; please direct those materials to admissions@wfu.edu.
To the students receiving difficult news: we have deep respect for your journey and wish you nothing but success in your next chapter.
Warmest regards,
Wake Forest University Office of Undergraduate Admissions
