Tuition-Free Program at WFU!
Last summer, Wake Forest University’s Board of Trustees approved one of the most ambitious strategic plans in recent memory. Our university president, Dr. Susan Wente, has shared her perspective and some of the guiding principles for our collective path forward.
As part of that plan, just last week, we announced a new financial aid initiative to support North Carolina students interested in attending Wake Forest. We are ecstatic about this new approach to need-based financial aid. With these changes, we hope it is much easier to understand what it would cost to attend Wake Forest.
We anticipate that this kind of program will be available to students from other states in the years ahead, but, in the meantime, we’d like to remind all our readers that we are still committed to making Wake Forest accessible to all interested students. We will continue to meet the full demonstrated financial need of each student eligible for need-based financial aid. The Net Price Calculator (NPC) remains the best resource to understand the kind of institutional support a student may receive to attend Wake Forest. Keep in mind that the NPC offers an estimate and is not a guarantee – and it is only as accurate as the information submitted.
No matter where you currently call “home,” we hope that you consider Wake Forest for its commitment to accessibility and desire to open its doors to students to experience myriad possibilities.
