We are only a few days away from the start of the 2025-2026 application cycle! We look forward to learning more about our applicants and discovering the many ways that they will add to the Wake Forest community.

Today’s post offers a few notes and reminders to those who will soon apply for admission to the Wake Forest Class of 2030:

  • Each applicant has the opportunity to “share their voice” by responding to the questions in our supplement, completing a virtual interview with an admissions representative, or by submitting a recorded video. Applicants should be aware that they must first submit an application for admission before they are eligible to complete an interview or to submit the video. They should expect to receive an email that provides further instructions and details about the interview and the video – again, after submitting an application. Applicants should take note that they have FIVE DAYS after receiving a confirmation email from us to submit either the video interview or a request for a virtual interview.
    • An important follow-up note to those who plan to use the Common App: every year, there is a two-to-three-week window in August during which the technical components of the Common Application are updated and revised for all the schools in the country. During this time, we are unable to send an immediate confirmation email that (1) confirms receipt of your application and (2) provides instructions for requesting an interview or submitting a recorded video option. We will provide confirmation emails as soon as we are able, likely in late August. Again, the five-day window to submit a request will not begin until the confirmation email has been sent.
    • The very first virtual interviews for this cycle will begin on August 18.
  • November 15 is a very important date in our application process: it is the deadline for our binding-and-rolling Early Decision I application round and our unique Early Action application round designed for first-generation college students; the priority deadline for merit-based scholarship consideration (for all applicants); AND the deadline to request a virtual interview. So mark your calendars, and please plan accordingly!
  • As senior year unfolds, we will be communicating with our applicants via email about their application status and a number of other topics related to Wake Forest. We understand why they would choose a school-provided email address as their preferred email, but a number of our messages tend to be undelivered or captured by various spam filters when sent to a school-based email. With this in mind, we’d encourage using a different email host to receive messages from us.

If you have not already, we encourage you to spend some time learning about Wake Forest by perusing our website: getting the facts, going on a virtual campus tour, or attending one of our virtual information sessions. If we might be of further support to you as you continue to explore Wake Forest, please do not hesitate to be in touch
