EDI Decisions; EDII and Early Action
By now, all students who applied Early Decision – with a completed application on or by December 12 – should have received their admissions decision. (If you have not received a decision, please be sure to check your status portal!) This marks the final decision release of the Early Decision I application round for the Wake Forest Class of 2029. We would like to thank all of our applicants for their interest in attending Wake Forest and the time and effort they put into our application.
Congratulations to those admitted – we look forward to communicating with you in the coming months. To those deferred, please be in touch with our office as the next semester unfolds. This blog post will be especially helpful as you consider what “to do” next. And lastly, we wish those of you who received disappointing news the very best in finding your collegiate home.
As a reminder, there are three ways to apply “early” to Wake Forest: Early Decision I, Early Action, and Early Decision II. While we have added students to the Wake Forest Class of 2029 via Early Decision I and will soon shift our attention to evaluate those students who applied via Early Action – our unique admissions option for first-generation college students – there still remains an opportunity to be considered as an “early applicant.” We will continue to accept applications for our binding Early Decision II round through January 1. All admissions decisions for that round of applications will be released in mid-February. If you applied via Regular Decision and would like to be considered as an Early Decision II applicant, be sure to submit an Early Decision Agreement, either through your status portal or by sending an email to admissions@wfu.edu.
We wish you the very best as you move forward in your college application process.
Warmest regards,
Wake Forest University Office of Undergraduate Admissions
