Admissions’ Holiday Schedule

With only a few days remaining in this calendar year, we write with some important information: 

• The Wake Forest University Office of Undergraduate Admissions will close for the winter holiday at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 22. We will return to the office on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. 

• You have until 11:59 p.m. on January 1, 2024, to submit your Regular Decision or Early Decision II application. If that time comes and goes, and you find that your application was submitted after that time, do not panic. We fully expect all of the application platforms to be especially busy that day, and we recognize that technical difficulties may arise. 
• As a reminder, your status portal is the best resource to review the status of your application. Please be aware that your admissions checklist will only reflect the materials required in our admissions process; supplemental materials (e.g. a résumé or recommendations beyond the two required) or optional materials (e.g. your video interview) will not be reflected in your checklist. 
• Please give us until January 17, 2024, before contacting us with questions about your application status. The end of the year typically brings unusually high email volume, and it can take a couple of weeks for our staff to process those emails and voice messages. Please be aware that there is also a 24-48-hour delay from the time you submit a document to the time that our admissions and/or financial-aid systems reflect receipt. 

In the spirit of the holiday season, we would like to offer our gratitude to you: as an applicant, a college counselor or advisor, a teacher, a parent – in whatever role that you play in this college-search process, we are appreciative of you, as well as the time, effort, and care you have paid to our application and application process.
