Living in the limen – the college word for “threshold” – is where the good stuff happens.

There, you see what lies on either side and then may join them in ways that are unique to you.

Many philosophies work this way: bringing together the old and the new.

That is what you have the chance to do right now, today, by applying to Wake Forest University –

to step across a metaphorical threshold into a world where you must be self-sufficient…but always with others there for encouragement and support.

Moving from the known to the unknown is not necessarily easy, but it is transformative, changing one from a world of certainty to one of possibility.

Take this trip to experience the liminal.

January 1 by 11:59 p.m. is our deadline for the binding Early Decision II application – for those who fell in love with Wake Forest a little late and who now want to commit. You’ll hear back from us on February 15.

January 1 by 11:59 p.m. is also the deadline for our non-binding Regular Decision application. As with all of our application types, you may apply via our Wake Forest University application or the Common or the Coalition, Powered by SCOIR, application (just add our name to your list of schools). With Regular Decision, you’ll hear back from us by April 1.

We want you to know that Wake Forest is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need through grants, scholarships, work-study, and subsidized loans.

Finally, if you haven’t already, please explore our complete online campus tour.

See the world beyond the given.
