We are happy to share that we have released our first round of admissions decisions for those who applied Early Decision I. As stated in a previous post, we will continue to release decisions at the end of each month, through the end of the calendar year.

Congratulations to those who were invited to join the Wake Forest Class of 2028! We are so excited to welcome you to our university and look forward to communicating with you in the months ahead. But, for now, we wish you the best for an incredible senior year!

Some of you have received disappointing news from the Admissions Committee, and, while our consideration of you for admission has ended, please know that we wish you only the best in finding your collegiate home.

For those of you who have been deferred, we would encourage you to be in touch with your admissions representative as the academic year continues. You are welcome to submit to us updates to your grades as well as additional recommendation letters, especially if you feel they will add significant value to your application or include something about which we were not initially aware. These sorts of additions will be especially helpful as we re-evaluate your application in the Regular Decision applicant pool, which, please note, does not include the binding commitment that accompanies applying Early Decision.

Thank you all for your interest in Wake Forest University and for all of your efforts in our admissions process.

Warmest regards,
Wake Forest University Office of Undergraduate Admissions
