Nelson Brunsting, an admissions counselor, uses a web cam to interview prospective students.

Personal interviews

Because Wake Forest is a face-to-face academic community, we strongly encourage applicants to interview. You want to know as much as possible about your college, and we want to learn about you. For these reasons, we urge all applicants to schedule an interview during the admissions process.

Please note!

Interviews are available to rising and current seniors by appointment between June 1 and November 15. Appointments are limited and must be scheduled in advance. To schedule, call the Admissions Office at 336.758.5201.

The on-campus interview

On-campus, personal interviews give us an opportunity to get to know each other. These thirty-minute sessions engage you with a member of the admissions staff. Because the interview is evaluative and becomes part of your application file, be prepared for dialogue that is beneficial to you and to us.

Online interviews

online interviews

Webcam interviews, using applications such as Skype, let you speak directly to admissions staff from your home or school. These interviews offer additional flexibility in appointment times.

Written interviews

Web-based written interviews are available only to students who have completed an application and are unable to visit campus or schedule a webcam interview. This is a thirty-minute timed question-and-answer session incorporating topics from current events to literature, history or popular culture. This interview can be accessed at your convenience.
