Ayla Acosta

The highlight of my Wake Forest experience was being able to experience constant love and support from my family and friends. Despite doubting myself over and over again, I could always count on my closest family and friends to hold me together. My Mom and Dad never once doubted who I could become. My Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, have always voiced their pride for me. My friends and I have shared every emotion from glee to sorrow through our years together.

I am eternally grateful for this chapter of my life and how it has allowed me to become more appreciative of those who always have and always will carry me through life. I thank God every day for these amazing people, both old and new. I would not be who I am without them.

After graduation, I will continue pursuing a career in Sponsorship Services and Community Relations in Professional Baseball. I am currently working with the Winston-Salem Dash. I hope to use my future career as a way to benefit both an organization and the surrounding community.

I will also go on to obtain a Master’s Degree from the online Sports Administration Program through the University of Miami.
